ManagedMissions – Winter 2011


We’ve been hard at work adding lots of new features.  Below is a quick look at what we’ve been up to in the past few months. Many of these changes were suggested by you!

People Management
Our latest release allows you to store more information about your team members such as birth date, gender, passport details, and notes regarding allergies, medications and other health related items.

Additionally, the Person Details screens allow you to quickly see meeting attendance, task completion history, and fundraising details for a specific team member.

Travel Quotes
It’s now easier than ever to get travel quotes from serveral top travel agencies who specialize in short-term missions travel.  Just click on Get Travel Quotes on the Trip Details page to try out this cool new feature.

Exporting Features
You can now export your team roster, budget, expenses and contribution data to a spreadhsheet compatible format (.csv).  Our contribution exports allow several export options including
- All contributions
- Contribution for a specific date
- All contributions for a specific team member
- A contribution summary for all team members

Extended Contribution Details
Our new Add Contribution screen now allows you to specify donor address data.  This will make it much easier for your team members to send out those very important Thank You cards!

Multi-Trip Meeting and Task Scheduling
Several of you asked for an easy way to create meetings and tasks for multiple trips from a single screen.  Now, multi-trip plans can create a meeting or task and select which upcoming trips to apply it to.

ManagedMissions – Fall 2010

Great Beginnings!
We launched ManagedMissions in September and couldn’t be more excited about how God is moving in our ministry. So far, we’ve had an overwhelmingly positive response! We especially appreciate all the great suggestions that you’ve shared with us. Please keep them coming!

Below is a quick look at what we’ve been up to in the past few weeks. Many of these changes were suggested by you!

To-Do List Completion Tracking
You now have the ability to keep track of who has/hasn’t completed a required task. Better yet, you can send email reminders to just the team members who haven’t completed that task!

Meeting Attendance
Easily keep track of meeting attendance. Quickly identify your most dependable team members.

Contribution Management
You’re now able to quickly see if trip members have met the most recent goal as well as the upcoming financial goal. Send email reminders just to those team members who haven’t met the previous or upcoming goal.

User Security Change
In an ongoing effort to provide organizations with tighter control over their financial data, we have upgraded our trip security settings. These are the new ManagedMissions roles for mission trip members:

  • Admin: Trip Admins can see & do everything related to their trip. This is the highest permission level.
  • Team Leader: Trip Leaders have the ability to create & edit team members, meetings, and To-Do’s. They have read-only access to Budget, Expenses, and Contribution screens.
  • Participant: Trip Participants are limited to viewing only their own information on trips in which they’re involved. Participants cannot see budget or expense information and are limited to viewing their own contribution details along with general trip information.

Trip Participant Screens
We’ve greatly increased what trip participants can see when using ManagedMissions.com. Participants can now view:

  • All upcoming & past meetings.
  • All upcoming & past ‘To Do List’ items including their completion status.
  • Contribution details – including a list of who has contributed to their account.

Other Changes

  • Account admins finally have the ability to delete missions trips!
  • Previously team member goals were tied to the trip budget. Trip administrators can now set a per-member financial goal that is independent of the fluctuating trip budget.
  • We’ve worked hard over the past weeks to track down and eradicate as many software bugs as possible. Additionally, we’ve added more bug tracking features that allow us to know in real-time when you run into a problem. We think you’ll be pleased with the much smoother user experience.
